TPG leads $186 mln round for

Online education firm has raised $186 million in funding. TPG led the round with participation from Accel Partners, Spectrum Equity and Meritech. Allen & Co provided financial advice to on the transaction. Also, the company has added David Trujillo of TPG to its board.

PE-backed acquires Halifax startup Compilr

Online education firm said Monday that it has acquired Compilr. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Halifax, Compilr is an online code editor. is backed by Accel Partners, Spectrum Equity and Meritech Capital Partners.
