Mainsail Partners has sold Togo’s Eateries Inc. to Nimes Capital. CEO Tony Gioia will retain his ownership stake in Togo’s and continue to lead the company. San Jose-based Togo’s is sandwich franchise. Brookwood Associates advised Togo’s/Mainsail.


3PL Central picks up $17.5 mln from Mainsail

Mainsail Partners has invested $17.5 million in 3PL Central. In conjunction with the funding, Mainsail’s Jason Payne and Stephen Wolfe have been added to 3PL Central’s board. D.A. Davidson & Co. provided financial advice to 3PL Central on the transaction. Based in Manhattan Beach, California, 3PL Central is a provider of warehouse management software.

Talent management software providers PeopleAdmin and Netchemia merge

PeopleAdmin has merged with Netchemia, the latter confirmed in an announcement on its site. No financial terms were disclosed. PeopleAdmin is a provider of talent management software for education and government while Netchemia provides talent management solutions for the K-12 education marketplace. Griscavage is succeeding Judy Bishop who will remain on the board of directors. Based in Franklin, Tenn., PlayMaker CRM is a provider of CRM solutions for the post-acute care sector.

The San Francisco-based private equity firm Mainsail Partners has announced three new hires, including Kathyrn Cavanaugh, Amy Corrieo, and Chris Cassidy. Cavanaugh, a former venture capitalist who last worked for Sightline Partners and De Novo Ventures, joins Mainsail as vice president of talent, a recruiting position. Corrieo, previously director of Finance for Professional Healthcare, is now Mainsail’s controller. And Cassidy, who joined Mainsail two years ago after working in marketing at Yahoo, has been promoted to operating partner at the firm.
