M/C Partners, J.P. Morgan invest in Everstream Solutions

M/C Partners and investors advised by the private equity group of J.P. Morgan Asset Management have invested $50 million in Everstream Solutions, a subsidiary of OneCommunity. As part of the deal, Everstream will acquire a majority of the fiber assets owned by OneCommunity and emerge as a standalone organization. OneCommunity, a non-profit that works to bring fiber-based services to healthcare, government and education customers, will retain a minority interest in Everstream and receive funds to support its work.


Charlesbank, M/C Partners to buy Acxiom IT

Acxiom said Wednesday that it agreed to sell its IT Infrastructure Management business (Acxiom IT) to Charlesbank Capital Partners and M/C Partners for total cash consideration of up to $190 million. The $190 million is comprised of $140 million in cash at closing and up to $50 million in contingent payments subject to certain performance metrics.


M/C Partners invests in Denovo

M/C Partners has acquired a majority stake in Denovo. No financial terms were disclosed. Media Venture Partners provided financial advice to Denovo on the transaction. In addition to the investment, Denovo has named Marty Snella as CEO. Based in Boston, Denovo is a provider of ERP cloud hosting, consulting and managed solutions.


Kinderhook buys CSDVRS

Kinderhook Industries said Tuesday it has acquired CSDVRS LLC from M/C Partners, Providence Equity Partners and Communication Service for the Deaf. Financial terms weren’t announced. Clearwater, Florida-based CSDVRS provides VRS services that enable deaf and hard of hearing individuals to communicate with hearing people. GE Capital provided financing for the deal.


Zayo Group files for IPO – Reuters

Fiber network company Zayo Group Holdings filed with U.S. regulators to raise up to $100 million in an initial public offering, writes Reuters. Zayo is backed by GTCR, Oak Investment Partners, M/C Partners, Columbia Capital and Charlesbank Capital Partners.


M/C Partners leads $50 mln round for Involta

Involta has received $50 million in financing. M/C Partners led the round with participation from Morgan Stanley Alternative Investment Partners. Involta owns and operates multi-tenant data centers in the U.S.


GTS sold to Deutsche Telekom

GTS has been sold to Deutsche Telekom for 546 million euros. GTS is an infrastructure-based telecommunications service provider in South East and Eastern Europe. It is currently owned by a consortium of international private equity firms including Bessemer Venture Partners, Columbia Capital, HarbourVest Partners, Innova Capital, MC Partners and Oak Investment Partners.

AccentHealth Acquires Havas’ Impact Wallboard Business

AccentHealth, a health education television waiting room network, has acquired the patient education wallboard business of HavasImpact division. AccentHealth is based in New York City and Tampa, FL and is owned by M/C Partners, Ridgemont Equity Partners and senior management.

M/C Partners Sells Attenda to Darwin Private Equity

M/C Partners said Monday it has sold Attenda for £50 million (US$83 million). Darwin Private Equity, which backed a management buyout, was the buyer. Attenda provides managed hosting services for UK enterprises. M/C Partners invested $14 million in Attenda in 2002. Last year, M/C sold Attenda co-location subsidiary, IFL, to Telecity for £21 million (USD $35 million).
