Sumeru Equity Partners and Adams Street fund Cybera

Nashville-based Cybera, a provider of secure virtual application networks, has raised an undisclosed amount of funding. The investors were Sumeru Equity Partners, previous backer Adams Street and Cybera management. Mooreland Partners provided financial advice to Cybera on the transaction. In addition to the funding, Cybera has named Andrew Lev as CEO and director. Lev is succeeding outgoing CEO Robert Dupuis who is retiring but will serve as adviser to Cybera.

Vordel Sold to Axway

Vordel has been sold to Axway Software, a business interaction networks specialist. Based in Dublin, Ireland with operations in USA, UK, France and Germany, Vordel has received funding from, among others, Elderstreet Investments and Intel Capital. Mooreland Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to Vordel.

ADP Sells Taxware Division to Vista Equity Partners

Automatic Data Processing has sold its taxware division to Vista Equity Partners, a private-equity firm focused on investments in software and technology-enabled services. Terms of the sale were not disclosed. Mooreland Partners acted as exclusive financial advisor to ADP.
