Advertising platform Boostable grabs $3.2 mln

Boostable has received $3.2 million in seed funding. The investors included Morado Ventures, Omidyar Network, SVAngel, Digital Garage, Vast Ventures and Fuel Capital. Based in San Francisco, Boostable is an advertising platform for marketplace sellers.

Tomfoolery Raises Seed Funding

Tomfoolery has raised a $1.7 million round of seed funding. The funding was led by Morado Ventures and Sam Pullara, Twitter and Yahoo veteran, now a managing director at Sutter Hill Ventures. Investors include Andreessen Horowitz, Jerry Yang of AME Cloud Ventures, Brad Garlinghouse, CEO of YouSendIt, David Tisch, co-founder of TechStars NYC, and other angel investors.

San Francisco-based startup ClassDojo has launched out of beta an announced it has raised $1.6 million in seed funding. Twitter Picks Up Bagcheck

Twitter has acquired Bagcheck, creator of a list-making and sharing platform, the company announced. As part of the deal, Bagcheck co-founder Sam Pullara will join Twitter’s engineering team. Terms were not released. Bagcheck’s site allows people to create and share collection – or “bags” – of items they are interested in, ranging from camera equipment to cooking tools. Bagcheck was supported by Sutter Hill Ventures and Morado Ventures, as well as individual investors Jonathan Katzman and Peter Fenton.
