DCM leads Series B round for Matterport

Matterport said Monday that it has closed $16 million in Series B financing. DCM Ventures led the round with participation from AME Cloud Ventures. Other investors include Lux Capital, Felicis Ventures, Greylock Partners, Navitas Capital, AMD Ventures, Qualcomm Ventures and Rothenberg Ventures. Based in Mountain View, Calif., Matterport develops cloud-based 3D models of interior spaces.

Enmetric Systems closes $1.5m financing round – Reuters

Enmetric Systems, a provider of plug load management solutions for the enterprise, has closed on a $1.5 million follow-on financing, writes Reuters. The round was led by Navitas Capital with participation from new investors including Azure International, Lakewest, Inc. (Belgravia Group, Ltd.) and several prominent angel investors.

Lunera Lighting Adds $14.3M, According to Filing

Lunera Lighting Inc., a maker of next-generation LED lighting, has added $14.3 million in equity and debt financing, according to a recent filing with the Securities and Exchange Commission. The round is planned to top out at about $23.3 million, according to the filing. The company’s board includes Gary Dillabough, a managing partner of The Westly Group; Steve Westly, the co-founder of The Westly Group; and HC Bailly, president of RCG Ventures.

Hara Adds $25M Series C

San Mateo, Calif.-based Hara raised $25 million in Series C financing, bringing its total raised to $45 million. Investors include Energy Technology Ventures, ITOCHU Technology Ventures, Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers, JAFCO Ventures, Nth Power, Focus Ventures and Navitas Capital. The money will help Hara expand its produce development. The company develops environmental and energy management software.

Soladigm Adds $10M to Close Series C

Milpitas, Calif.-based Soladigm, which develops highly energy-efficient dynamic glass for buildings, has raised an additional $10 million in financing, closing its Series C round with a total of $40 million. New investors The Westly Group and Navitas Capital contributed to the round, as did the company’s existing shareholders: San Francisco-based DBL Investors and Cayman Islands-based firm Nano Dimension. GE Energy Financial Services, Khosla Ventures and Sigma Partners.

Navitas Capital Nears Fund Close

Navitas Capital plans to close its debut fund in January on between $35 million and $50 million, according to VentureWire. The Berkeley, Calif.-based firm plans to focus on green-building technology companies. www.navitascap.com

Avantium Raises €18 Million

Avantium Technologies BV, a Dutch developer of biofuels and bioplastics, has raised €18 million in new VC funding. Aescap Venture led the round, and was joined by return backers Capricorn Cleantech Fund, ING Corporate Investments and Navitas Capital. The company has now raised over $130 million.
