Snagajob rakes in $100 mln

Hourly work marketplace Snagajob has closed $100 million in funding. Rho Acceleration led the round with participation from NewSpring Capital and the Invus Group. In addition to the funding, Habib Kairouz of Rho Acceleration and Marc Lederman of NewSpring Capital have been added to Snagajob’s board of directors. Raymond James advised Snagajob on the transaction.


X5 Solutions buys CornerStone Telephone Company

X5 Solutions, which is backed by NewSpring Capital, has acquired CornerStone Telephone Company. Financial terms weren’t announced. Troy, New York-based CornerStone provides local and long distance phone service, high-speed Internet access, VoIP, cloud computing, data center services and business phone systems to customers throughout the northeastern United States.

Thoma Bravo buys iPipeline

Thoma Bravo has acquired Exton, Pennsylvania-based iPipeline, a tech provider of cloud-based software solutions for the life insurance sector. The sellers were NewSpring Capital, Technology Crossover Ventures and Volition Capital. No financial terms were disclosed. Golub Capital and Ares Capital Corp provided funding for the deal. Credit Suisse was the lead financial advisor to iPipeline on the transaction while Bank of America Merrill Lynch and William Blair served as co-advisors.


Pamplona to acquire Precyse
