Osage Venture Partners leads $3.1 mln funding in Sidecar

Osage Venture Partners has led a $3.1 million funding round in Sidecar, a Philadelphia-based big data marketing services startup. Osage joins existing investors NextStage Capital, Innovation Ventures, Gabriel Investments, Ben Franklin Technology Partners, Mid-Atlantic Angel Group, Robinhood Ventures, ARC Angel Group and Michael G. Rubin.

VC-backed Waywire Networks beefs up advisory board

Waywire Networks said Wednesday that it expanded its advisory board with four new additions. Among them are Tim Hanlon, the founder and CEO of The Vertere Group and Mike Wheeler, managing partner at Westerly Partners. Based in New York City, Waywire is a provider of cloud-based video curation solutions for online publishing, brands and ad networks. Its backers include Innovation Ventures, NextStage Capital, New Vantage Group and Rose Tech Ventures.

Online Marketing Startup Sidecar Raises $2.52M

Snipi Inc., which does business as Sidecar, announced Wednesday that it has closed on $2.52M in Series A financing. The Philadelphia-based company operates an automated online marketing platform for e-commerce companies.
