Nexus Ventures IV’s limited partners include endowments, foundations and financial institutions in North America, Europe and Asia. The fund will focus on early-stage tech and data companies that are disrupting the consumer retail, financial services, healthcare and education sectors.

San Francisco-based Blueshift Labs, which provides marketing SaaS, announced that it has raised $2.6 million in seed funding co-led by New Enterprise Associates and Nexus Venture Partners, with participation from individual investors Tim Kopp (former CMO of ExactTarget), Neil Tolaney (former investor at Technology Crossover Ventures), as well as Anand Rajaraman and Venky Harinarayan (co-founders of Kosmix, @WalmartLabs, Junglee and Milliways Ventures). A regulatory filing on Aug. 4 indicated the company raised the money then, but it did not disclose investors until today.

Intel Capital led the round, which also included Visionnaire Ventures and existing investors True Ventures and Nexus Venture Partners. The San Francisco-based company has now raised $13.2 million in total funding. As part of the funding, Susan Choe, managing partner at Visionnaire, has joined the board.
