Nok Nok Labs rakes in $8 mln

Palo Alto, California-based Nok Nok Labs, an online authentication solutions provider, has closed $8 million in Series C funding. The investors included DaouKiwoom Group, DOCOMO Capital, Thundersoft, DCM Ventures, Lenovo Group, ONSET Ventures and Raven Ventures. In addition to the funding, Ik-Rae Kim, founder and executive chairman of the DaouKiwoom Group, has been added to Nok Nok Labs’ board of directors.

Nok Nok Labs has raised $8.25 million in Series C financing. The investors included DDS, Raven Ventures, DCM Ventures, Lenovo Group Limited and ONSET Ventures. Based in Palo Alto, Calif., Nok Nok Labs is a provider of online authentication solutions.

Security Startup Nok Nok Labs Already Knocked on VCs’ Doors

Nok Nok Labs, which develops authentication technology for the cloud, came out of stealth today and launched its product and services. The venture-backed company was founded by CEO Phillip Dunkelberger, who previously launched encryption company PGP Corp. He founded Nok Nok in 2011 and raised a $15 million Series A round that same year from ONSET Ventures and DCM.
