North Bridge leads $25 mln investment in Spoonflower

North Bridge Growth Equity led a $25 million investment in Spoonflower, which provides on-demand digital printing of custom fabric, wallpaper and gift wrapping. Bull City Venture Partners participated in the investment. North Bridge Partners Russ Pyle and Holly Maloney, along with David Jones from Bull City, will join Spoonflower’s board.


Ascension Ventures, Heritage, Kaiser invest in Ingenious Med

Ascension Ventures, Heritage Group and Kaiser Permanente Ventures are investing in Ingenious Med, which is backed by North Bridge Growth Equity. Atlanta-based Ingenious Med provided a cloud-based patient encounter platform that aims to automate physician and care team workflow at the point of care. North Bridge acquired a majority stake in the company in 2014 and remains lead investor.


Heritage Group leads $15 mln round for Valence Health

Valence Health, a provider of clinical integration, population health and value-based care solutions, has closed $15 million in funding. Heritage Group led the round with participation from Foundation Medical Partners, GE Ventures and North Bridge Growth Equity.


North Bridge invests in Ingenious Med

North Bridge Growth Equity has acquired a majority stake in Ingenious Med. No financial terms were disclosed. In conjunction with the funding, Doug Kingsley and Roshen Menon of North Bridge have been added to Ingenious Med’s board of directors. Based in Atlanta, Ingenious Med is a patient encounter platform provider.

North Bridge Backs Spil Games

North Bridge Growth Equity has put an undisclosed amount into online gaming company Spil Games. Terms of the deal were not released, though North Bridge said it will take a minority stake in the company. Spil Games will use the financing to support development and growth efforts.

BrightTALK Seals $20.5M

North Bridge Growth Equity has poured $20.5 million into BrightTALK, a provider of webinar and video technologies for business professionals. The money will help BrightTALK with technology development and growth efforts. BrightTALK has offices in San Francisco, New York and London.
