Solovis grabs $3.25 mln in Edison Partners-led round

Dallas and Charlottesville-based Solovis, a portfolio management and reporting solution for foundations, endowments, pensions and family offices, has secured $3.25 million in funding. Edison Partners led the round with participation from other investors that included MissionOG, OCA Ventures, Timberline Venture Partners and Northwestern University.

Edumedics grabs $4.2 mln Series A

Edumedics, a provider of care management solutions for people who have or are developing diabetes and other chronic conditions, has raised $4.2 million in Series A funding. Lunsford Capital LLC led the round with participation from other investors that included OCA Ventures, Enterprise Angels Fund, University of Louisville Foundation and Commonwealth Seed Capital Fund. In addition to the funding, Lunsford Capital Chairman/CEO Bruce Lunsford and Mike Stigler, director of Blue & Co LLC have been added to Edumedics’ board of directors. Also, Edumedics has named Bob Saunders, a general partner at OCA Ventures, as a board observer.
