Fetch Robotics nets $3 mln Series A

San Jose, California-based Fetch Robotics, which is building robots for the logistics sector, has closed $3 million in Series A funding. The investors were O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and Shasta Ventures. Also, the company has appointed Melonee Wise as its CEO. Wise is the former CEO and co-founder of Unbounded Robotics.


Sight Machine grabs $5 mln in Mercury Fund-led round

Sight Machine has secured $5 million in funding. Mercury Fund led the round with participation from other investors that included Michigan eLab, Huron River Ventures, Orfin Ventures, Funders Club, IA Ventures and O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures. Based in San Francisco and Ann Arbor, Michigan, Sight Machine is a manufacturing analytics platform developer.

OpenSignal picks up $4 mln Series A

OpenSignal, a provider of information on wireless networks, has closed $4 million in Series A funding, the company announced on a blog post on its site. Qualcomm Ventures led the round with participation from O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures and Passion Capital. According to the firm, the capital will be used for personnel hiring. Spark grabs $4.9 mln Series A

Spark, a development platform for connected devices, said Tuesday that it has closed $4.9 million in Series A funding. The investors included Lion Wells Capital, O’Reilly AlphaTech Ventures, SOSventures and Collaborative Fund.
