College student photo-sharing app Unseen grabs $2.1 mln

Austin-based Bearch has closed $2.1 million in funding for Unseen, its anonymous photo-sharing app for college students. Investors included Dirk Elmendorf, co-founder of Rackspace; Rony Kahan, CEO and co-founder of; and Doss Cunningham, CEO of Woodbolt International.


Charles River Ventures leads $2 mln round for

Digital music startup has closed $2 million in funding. Charles River Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included SV Angel, Y Combinator, FundersClub, Lew Moorman, president of Rackspace and Tom Ryan, former head of digital at EMI.

PE-backed Accruent hires new COO

Accruent, which is backed by TA Associates and Vista Equity Partners, said Wednesday that it has hired Wayne Roberts as its chief operating officer. Previously, Roberts worked at Rackspace.
