Graham Cooper Named CFO of Receptos

Receptos, a San Diego-based biopharmaceutical company working to develop treatments for immune and metabolic diseases, has a new CFO: Graham Cooper. Cooper was previously CFO at Geron Corporation and Orexigen Therapeutics.

Receptos Raises $25 Million

Receptos Inc., a San Diego-based developer of GPCR therapeutics, has raised $25 million in tranched-out Series A funding. Backers include ARCH Venture Partners, Flagship Ventures, Lilly Ventures and Venrock.
