Cambridge, Massachusetts-based cybersecurity company Cybereason has secured $25 million in Series B funding. Spark Capital led the round with participation from CRV and Lockheed Martin. In conjunction with the funding, Santo Politi, founder and general partner at Spark Capital, has been appointed to Cybereason’s board.

Andreessen Horowitz backs Stack Exchange

Stack Exchange, a network of question and answer websites, has secured $40 million in funding, the company announced in a blog post on its site. The bulk of that funding comes mostly from Andreessen Horowitz. In addition to the funding, the venture firm’s Chris Dixon will be joining Stack Exchange’s board of directors as an observer.
