Sungevity raises $50 mln

Sungevity has raised $50 million in financing from existing investors including GE Ventures. New investors including Apollo Investment Corp. participated as well as Hercules Technology Growth Capital. Sungevity also raised $600 million in new project financing from a consortium led by Apollo Investment Corp. Oakland, Calif.-based Sungevity, a solar energy provider, is a portfolio company of Hercules Technology Growth Capital.
