Teakwood Capital has sold Marketing Advocate to Zift Solutions. No financial terms were disclosed. Based in Centerville, Mass., Marketing Advocate provides a marketing platform for tech companies and their channel resellers.

Teakwood Capital has hired Bob Mosteller as managing director of finance and chief financial officer. Mosteller joins the firm from Silver Creek Ventures, where he worked as CFO and chief operating officer. Financial terms of the deal were not released. Teakwood Capital is a Dallas-based private equity firm.

Teakwood Capital Closes Second Fund

Teakwood Capital has closed its second fund, Teakwood Capital II, with an undisclosed amount. The fund’s limited partners include a mix of family offices and institutions, the firm said. Teakwood Capital II has also closed its first transaction, an investment in computer-based testing company ExamSoft. Teakwood was formed in 2005, and is based in Dallas.
