San Francisco-based JavaScript app platform provider Meteor Development Group has secured $20 million in Series B funding. Matrix Partners led the round with participation from Andreessen Horowitz and Trinity Ventures. In conjunction with the funding, David Skok of Matrix Partners has been added to the MDG board.

Bessemer leads $30 mln funding of on-demand valet provider ZIRX

ZIRX, a provider of on-demand valet and related car services, said today it has closed its $30 million Series B financing led by Bessemer Venture Partners. Existing investors Norwest Venture Partners and Trinity Ventures also participated in the round. The San Francisco-based company has now raised $36.4 million in total funding, following a $6.4 million Series A round last September. The company has operations in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle and Washington, D.C.

Aryaka picks up $16 mln

Milpitas, California-based Aryaka, a provider of WAN optimization technology, has raised $16 million in funding. Nexus Venture Partners led the round with participation from return backers Trinity Ventures, InterWest Partners, Mohr Davidow Ventures and Presidio Ventures.

Jama Software snags $20 mln

Portland, Oregon-based Jama Software, a computer software company, has secured $20 million in funding. The investors were Updata Partners, Trinity Ventures, Madrona Venture Group and the Oregon Angel Fund. In conjunction with the funding, Jon Seeber of Updata Partners and Tim Porter from Madrona have been appointed to Jama’s board.

According to an amended SEC filing. MaxPoint Interactive has priced its IPO of 6.5 million shares between $10.50 and $12.50 a share. The company plans on listing the stock on the NYSE under the ticker symbol “MXPT.” Goldman Sachs, Deutsche Bank Securities and Pacific Crest Securities are serving as lead underwriters. MaxPoint Interactive is a digital advertising company that helps brands increase in-store sales. It is backed by Madrona Venture Group and Trinity Ventures.

New Relic files for IPO

San Francisco-based software analytics provider New Relic on Monday filed for a $100 million proposed IPO under the symbol “NEWR.” New Relic didn’t indicate the price in its announcement. But the company’s regulatory filing lists the price. Benchmark Capital is listed as the largest institutional shareholder, owning 22 percent prior to the IPO, followed by Trinity Ventures (13.6 percent). Other sizable investors include Insight Venture Partners and Tenaya Capital. Venture-backed New Relic has raised more than $214 million in funding, including a $100 million round in April.
