Quantenna Communications racks up $22 mln

Silicon Valley-based Wi-Fi solutions provider Quantenna Communications has closed $22 million in funding. The lead investors were Centerview Capital Technology, Vivint and NTT Group. Return backers Sequoia Capital, DAG Ventures, Rusnano, Sigma Partners and Venrock also participated in the round. In addition to the financing, Quantenna has named Ned Hooper and Harold Hughes to its board of directors.

Blackstone Completes Vivint Buy

The Blackstone Group said Monday that it has closed its more than $2 billion buy of Vivint. Provo, Utah-based Vivint provides home technology and automation services. The investment came from Blackstone Capital Partners VI L.P, which raised $16 billion earlier this year.
