Bitcoin wallet startup Xapo picks up $20 mln

Xapo, a bitcoin wallet startup in Palo Alto, Calif., has secured $20 million in Series A-1 funding, the company announced in a blog post on its site. Greylock Partners and Index Ventures led the round with participation from other investors that included Emergence Capital Partners, Max Levchin, co-founder of PayPal, and Jerry Yang, founding partner of AME Cloud Ventures and co-founder of Yahoo!.
