Taldan Capital Buys Teledata Networks

Taldan Capital has acquired Teledata Networks, a division of publicly traded Enablence Technologies. Terms were not released. Teledata is a provider of network access technologies of IP, Ethernet, xDSL, GPON and VoIP to telecom operators. Taldan Capital is a private equity firm based in San Francisco and Tel-Aviv.


Taldan Capital, a special situation private equity firm based in San Francisco, California and Tel-Aviv, Israel, is pleased to announce the acquisition of Teledata Networks (“Teledata”), a division of Enablence Technologies (TSX VENTURE: ENA) for the past two years.


Teledata is a market leader of multi-service Access Network technology and solutions, delivering state of the art, carrier grade network access technologies of IP, Ethernet, xDSL, GPON and VoIP to major telecom operators around the world. Teledata’s solutions enable telecom operators a smooth migration to Next

Generation Networks (NGN) and a full Triple Play service portfolio. Founded in 1981, Teledata was publicly traded on the Nasdaq during the 1990’s, and previously owned by ADC Telecommunications in the early 2000’s.

Teledata has accumulated a large installed base of blue chip customers spanning across Europe, Asia, Latin America and Africa. In addition to nearly 7 million installed lines of narrowband and broadband services, Teledata continues to qualify its innovative system and product pipeline to continually penetrate newer markets such as the North America, where its BroadAccess Platform is well suited to deliver its unique performance and cost requirements demanded by customers in the North American region.
