Multi-stage investment shop TCG promoted Michaela Venuti to vice president based in San Francisco. Venuti, who joined in January 2019, was central to the firm’s $83 million investment in Food52, where she serves as a board observer.

TCG, a multi-stage investment firm dedicated to identifying and building businesses at the forefront of consumer trends, announced today that it has promoted Michaela Venuti to Vice President. Ms. Venuti is based in San Francisco and will continue to focus on the sourcing, diligence and execution of new investment opportunities.

Since joining TCG in January 2019, Ms. Venuti’s significant consumer, technology and investment experience has played a significant role in the firm’s success. She was central to TCG’s $83MM investment in Food52, where she now serves as a Board Observer. Prior to joining TCG, Ms. Venuti served as a Senior Monetization Manager for Smule, Inc., a social network centered around sharing and creating music. Previously, Ms. Venuti served as a Senior Associate at Adams Street Partners, where she focused on consumer and software investments, as well as an Analyst at GCA, where she worked on the technology M&A and financing team. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Princeton University.

The firm also recently promoted Julia Herringer to Senior Associate in Los Angeles and Yuri Gui to Associate in New York City.
