


Thoma Bravo LLC has closed its oversubscribed 12th flagship fund at its $7.6 billion hard cap.
Thoma Bravo Fund XII will focus on the software and tech sectors.
According to the San Francisco and Chicago-based private equity firm, Thoma Bravo has made over 140 deals in this sector since 2003, amounting to a total value of about $30 billion.
In June, Thoma Bravo acquired data analytics firm Qlik Technologies for about $3 billion, as Buyouts reported. Earlier this year, the firm and Silver Lake completed their take-private acquisition of software company SolarWinds for about $4.5 billion.
Kirkland & Ellis advised Thoma Bravo on the fund-closing.
