Todd Papau becomes Northleaf’s sales and business development VP

Northleaf Capital Partners, a $5 billion private equity and infrastructure fund manager and advisor, has recruited Todd Papau as its vice president, sales and business development. Papau was previously with Goldman, Sachs & Co, where he established and managed strategic Canadian relationships. Before then, he was a vice president with Citigroup. Based in Northleaf’s Toronto headquarters, Papau will focus on expanding the firm’s relationships with Canadian and global institutional investors and family offices.

Todd joins Northleaf from Goldman, Sachs & Co. where he established and managed strategic Canadian relationships on behalf of the firm, while advising on and directing public and private market investments and portfolio strategy for family offices, foundations and small-to-mid sized institutional clients. Previously, Todd was a Vice President with Citigroup in New York. Todd began
his career in institutional sales with CIBC World Markets, also in New York. Todd holds a B.Comm from the Sauder School of Business at the University of British Columbia and an MBA from the Johnson School of Management at Cornell University.
