Tom Flanagan has joined Jefferies as a managing director in the firm’s financial sponsors group. He previously ran the mid-market financial sponsors group for Lehman Brothers.

In a further expansion of the firm’s Global Financial Sponsors Group, Jefferies announced today the addition of Thomas E. Flanagan as a Managing Director in Investment Banking.

Mr. Flanagan brings to Jefferies over twenty years of investment banking experience, including approximately twelve years at Lehman Brothers predominantly focused on financial sponsor coverage, ultimately as Managing Director and Head of the Middle Market Financial Sponsor Group. Prior to Lehman Brothers, he spent six years at Dillon Read & Co. where he was a coverage officer focusing on industrial companies. Mr. Flanagan received his MBA from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and his AB from Lafayette College.
