TorQuest closes $925 mln for fourth fund

Canadian private equity fund manager TorQuest Partners has raised $925 million for its fourth fund, beating its initial $750 million target. The fund will focus on middle-market companies.

TORONTO, JUNE 29, 2016 – TorQuest Partners today announced the final closing of TorQuest Partners Fund IV, with $925 million of committed capital.

TorQuest IV will apply the firm’s established and highly successful middle-market investment and operating strategy of partnering closely with management teams to create value through strategic change, operational improvements, and the successful integration of accretive add-on acquisitions.
