Red Book Connect said Wednesday that it has named Arnab Sur as senior vice president of global sales. Previously, Sur served as global sales vice president for A T & T Cloud Solutions. Red Book Connect is a global provider of cloud-based solutions and is backed by TPG Growth, the middle market and growth equity platform of TPG, a global private investment firm.
ATLANTA–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Red Book Connect, a global, cloud-based software solutions company serving the restaurant and broader retail industries, announced today that it has appointed Arnab Sur as Senior Vice President of Global Sales, a previously unfilled position since the formation of the company in January 2013.
Sur, 47, was previously the Global Sales Vice President for AT&T Cloud Solutions since 2006, where he increased revenues 300% after building and integrating an industry leading portfolio of Cloud, Applications, and Hosting services. Under Sur’s leadership, AT&T Cloud Solutions transformed from a US-based business to a Global leader servicing a broad range of Fortune 500, Global 1000, small-to-medium (SMB) customers and several industry verticals. Throughout his career, Sur has managed large teams of direct, indirect, and technical sales, and also brings software application expertise to his new role at Red Book Connect. Sur has also held senior sales positions at USInternetworking, Appshop and Quovera. He will be based in San Francisco.

Sur earned a Masters of Science degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from the University of Wisconsin, and a Bachelor of Technology degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Mumbai, India.
