TPG to buy Entertainment Partners

TPG has agreed to buy Entertainment Partners. Financial terms weren’t announced. Entertainment Partners, of Burbank, California, provides production workforce management and automated production software and services to the entertainment industry. American Discovery Capital provided financial advice to Entertainment Partners, while  Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP acted as M&A counsel.


Entertainment Partners Announces Investment From TPG

New resources enhance capacity to realize vision for clients

BURBANK, Calif., March 26, 2019 ( – ​Entertainment Partners(“EP” or the “Company”), the leading global end-to-end provider of production workforce management and automated production software and services to the entertainment industry, announced today that it has reached an agreement to be acquired by TPG Capital, the private equity platform of global alternative asset firm TPG.

EP’s management team, led by Mark Goldstein, President and CEO, will continue in their roles. Terms of the transaction, which is expected to close in the second quarter of 2019, were not disclosed. American Discovery Capital acted as exclusive financial advisor to the Company in this transaction. Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP acted as M&A counsel to the Company in this transaction.
