Dallas-based private equity firm Trinity Hunt Partners said Thursday that it has promoted two staffers and hired an addition to its team. The company has upped Blake Apel and Jake Moore to vice president and associate, respectively. Also, it has named Leslie Kwang as an associate.

Dallas, Texas — September 4, 2013 — Trinity Hunt Partners, a leading private equity firm with an extensive track record of partnering with business owners to build value, today announced a number of promotions and additions to the firm’s team of private equity professionals. The firm has promoted investment team members Blake Apel and Jake Moore. Additionally, the firm is pleased to announce the addition of Leslie Kwang to the Trinity Hunt team.
Blake Apel was promoted from Senior Associate to Vice President. Mr. Apel originally joined Trinity Hunt as an Analyst in 2007, and spent three years with the firm before returning to school to pursue his M.B.A. full-time. Post M.B.A., Blake rejoined Trinity Hunt in 2012 to continue his private equity career with the firm. He is a graduate of Vanderbilt University and received his M.B.A. from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, where he was awarded the Elfman-Wareham Private Equity Fellowship.
Jake Moore was promoted from Analyst to Associate. Mr. Moore joined Trinity Hunt in April 2012 from SunTrust Robinson Humphrey, where he focused on mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, and private placements. Mr. Moore is a magna cum laude graduate of Colgate University, where he received a B.A. in Economics and Political Science.
Leslie Kwang serves as an Associate, assisting in deal sourcing and execution, as well as portfolio company monitoring. She previously worked at Credit Suisse as a member of the firm’s Oil & Gas Investment Banking Group. Ms. Kwang holds a B.B.A. in Finance, B.B.A. in Business Honors, B.A. in History, and minor in Management Information Systems from The University of Texas at Austin.
