TWV Capital Management invests in Signature Contracting Services

TWV Capital Management has closed a $3.5 million investment in Signature Contracting Services. Formed in 2006, Signature provides construction and infrastructure services to governmental entities and large construction and engineering firms.

TWV Capital Management (TWV Capital) announces the closing of a $3.5 million investment by Texas Women Ventures Fund II, L.P. and Texas Women Ventures Fund-Side, L.P. (“TWV”) in Signature Contracting Services, L.L.C. (“Signature”) The closing took place on June 12, 2014. Signature is a Grand Prairie based infrastructure contracting and services company, and will use the growth capital to service its increasing backlog of current infrastructure projects in Texas and the Southwestern United States.
Formed in 2006, Signature provides construction and infrastructure services to governmental entities as well as large construction and engineering firms. Signature has provided services on large infrastructure projects including the El Paso Border Fence, Dallas Fort Worth International Northgate Connector, Chalmette Levee Restoration, San Antonio River Walk Expansion and DART Orange Line Expansion. Signature also provides direct landscape and maintenance services to governmental entities, including irrigation services, landscape services and right of way mowing. The Signature team is led by Marsha Newberry, William Propes and Corey Tompkins.
