Validity Sensors Gets $20M

Validity Sensors Inc., a San Jose, Calif.-based company, has raised $20 million in Series B-1 backing, VentureWire reported. Prior investor Crosslink Capital led the round and was joined by Telesoft Partners; strategic investor Qualcomm Ventures also participated in the round. Michael Stark of Crosslink Capital joined the company board. Validity has raised a total of $60 million and has a post-money valuation of $80 million, according to Chief Financial Officer Rick Santos.
