VC-backed Endgame appoints new CTO

Endgame has hired Nils Puhlmann as its chief technology officer. Previously, Puhlmann served as chief security officer for Zynga. ARLINGTON, Va.–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Endgame, Inc., a leading venture-backed provider of security solutions using data science to deliver actionable intelligence and visibility into the digital domain for government and commercial customers, today announced the appointment of Nils Puhlmann as its Chief Technology Officer. Mr. Puhlmann formerly served as Chief Security Officer of online gaming company Zynga. As CTO of Endgame, he will use his deep experience in the security industry to lead the company’s technical vision and strategy as it broadens its offering for enterprises.
Mr. Puhlmann has over 15 years of experience in executive-level security roles at software and web companies. As Chief Security Officer of Zynga from 2009-2012, he led the company’s converged security department, managing all security risks for the company and overseeing product and application security, security engineering and architecture, investigations and incident response, security intelligence and threat assessments, physical security, security compliance, and audit. He also chaired Zynga’s Security Risk Committee.
Mr. Puhlmann previously served in security leadership roles at Adobe, Electronic Arts, Mindjet, and Qualys. Additionally, he is a Co-Founder and Member of the Board of the Cloud Security Alliance, a community of 50,000 security professionals that promotes the use of best practices for providing security assurance within Cloud Computing.
