Vestar Capital Partners said March 18 that Winston Song and Nikhil Bhat were promoted to managing director while Jonathan Williams was named a vice president.

NEW YORK, NY – March 18, 2019 – Vestar Capital Partners, a leading U.S. private equity firm, today announced the promotions of three investment professionals. Winston Song and Nikhil Bhat have been promoted to Managing Director, and Jonathan Williams hasbeen promoted to Vice President.

A member of the Firm’s Consumer Group, Mr. Song previously worked in the Global Leveraged Finance Group at Lehman Brothers. He began his career in the Strategic Partners Group at CSFB.

Mr. Bhat is a member of the Firm’s Business Services Group. He previously worked on the Industrials team at Advent International and began his career as a consultant at Bain & Company.

We will leverage Nikhil’s experience, relationships, and insights as we continue to build on Vestar’s long and successful track record in the space.”
Prior to Vestar, Mr. Williams was an analyst at Moelis & Company, where he executed M&A and restructuring transactions across a variety of sectors, including healthcare, telecommunications, and consumer/retail.
