Victory Park taps GE Capital veteran Brown to lead Los Angeles office

Victory Park Capital has named Jason Brown as partner. Brown will lead Victory Park’s new Los Angeles office. Brown previously was a managing director in corporate and restructuring finance at GE Capital. Prior to GE Capital, Brown was alternate group manager at Comerica Bank.

Victory Park Capital (VPC), an asset management firm focused on middle-market debt and equity investments, announced today that it has named Jason Brown partner. Brown, a twenty-year financial services veteran will lead the firm’s new Los Angeles office. VPC is headquartered in Chicago with additional resources in Boston, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

Brown was previously a managing director in corporate and restructuring finance at GE Capital, where he spent over 10 years. He oversaw teams in the west and mountain regions, serving capital needs of manufacturers, wholesalers, distributors and service companies. Prior to GE Capital, he was alternate group manager at Comerica Bank. Brown has also served as the president of the Los Angeles chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG) where he is a current Los Angeles chapter and global board member. He attended Sydney University and the University of Southern California.
