Vine Alternative Investments Group has closed its third fund at more than $500 million, beating its initial $300 million target.
The limited partners for Vine Media Opportunities – Fund III include European, Canadian and U.S. public pension plans, financial services companies and funds of funds.
As in the case of its previous funds, Fund II will focus on film, television and entertainment assets. Currently, Vine has committed $125 million from Fund III for investments.
Vine Film Finance Fund II, which is out of market, raised $300 million, according to Bison data. No timeline or performance data is available.
Forbes Private Capital Group served as a placement agent for Fund III.
Since its founding in late 2006, Vine has made 18 investments, committing more than $450 million of funding to the media and entertainment industry.
