Vista Equity Partners has hired Burke Norton as co-head and principal of Vista Perennial Investing and Greg Myers as global head of investor relations. Norton is the former executive vice president, general counsel and a member of the chairman’s office at Expedia. And, Myers is a former partner and senior managing director at Eton Park Capital Management.
AUSTIN, Texas–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Vista is today announcing the addition of Burke Norton as Co-Head/Principal of Vista Perennial Investing and Greg Myers, Global Head of Investor Relations. As a result of its growth, Vista Equity Partners is developing the capability for perennial investments that focus on longer term horizon opportunities.
Burke Norton, an industry veteran with over 25 years of experience in technology, has served as a member of the Executive Committee and as Executive Vice President, Chief Legal Officer and Chief of Corporate and Government Affairs at Salesforce. Previously, he was Executive Vice President, General Counsel and a member of the Office of the Chairman at Expedia. He was a Partner at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati, where he represented technology companies in M&A and other corporate transactions.
Greg Myers, has over 20 years of investor relations and fundraising experience, most recently as a Partner and Senior Managing Director at Eton Park Capital Management. Previously, Mr. Myers was with Lazard & Co. in London and New York and began his career at Merrill Lynch & Co.
