announced that Kevin Warn-Schindel joined the firm as a Managing Director based in Boston to lead the
Real Assets investment program which includes a focus on energy, infrastructure, natural resources, and

HarbourVest has expanded its capabilities and platform for investing in real assets to leverage its
expertise, experience, and relationships in the market. The firm has expanded since early 2014 to include

HarbourVest currently manages nearly $1 billion of capital focused on investing in real assets.
“HarbourVest has been reviewing opportunities in real assets for quite some time. We continue to see
strong interest in real assets and believe this is a natural extension of the HarbourVest platform across the
private markets, said Brett Gordon, managing director of HarbourVest. Kevin’s leadership and depth of
experience in real assets complement our team’s expertise in primary, secondary, and co-investment
activities. As we build out this platform, we expect to add additional team members with real assets
