Water Street Healthcare Partners has completed its sale of gastrodiagnostic device company Sierra Scientific Instruments to Given Imaging Ltd. (Nasdaq: GIVN). The deal was valued at $35 million in cash.

Given Imaging Ltd (NASDAQ: GIVN) today announced that it has completed its previously announced acquisition of privately-held Sierra Scientific Instruments for $35 million in cash. As a result of the acquisition, Sierra Scientific is now a wholly-owned subsidiary of Given Imaging. Given Imaging acquired Sierra Scientific from Water Street Healthcare Partners, a leading private equity firm focused exclusively on health care.
