Westmount taps Riely as private capital director

Dallas-based Westmount Realty Capital LLC, a commercial real estate development and investment manager, has hired Shawn M. Riely as director of private capital. Previously, Riely was managing director at Encore Enterprises.

DALLAS – Oct. 23, 2017 – Westmount Realty Capital, LLC (“Westmount”), a Dallas-based commercial real estate development and investment management company, is pleased to announce that Shawn M. Riely has joined the company as Director – Private Capital. Riely, who has more than 30 years of experience in corporate finance and investor relations, will be a trusted adviser for Westmount’s private capital investors.

Prior to joining Westmount, Riely was managing director at Encore Enterprises, where he provided strategic insights on offerings to investors. Riely was also the executive vice president of a mass notification (SaaS) company based in Sugar Land. While there, the company achieved a three-year revenue growth rate of more than 5,000 percent, and he led an effective initiative for Texas legislation that impacted the company’s patents.

Riely was also a national sales manager at GK Development, Inc., an Illinois-based real estate acquisition and development company specializing in retail and commercial properties. He has held executive level positions at boutique investment banks, securities broker/dealer companies and a NYSE-listed multi-family REIT.

Riely is a current board member of the Dallas Chapter of Financial Executives International. He holds FINRA Series 7, 24, 63 and 66 licenses and has a degree from Colorado State University.
