Edward Whatley has joined Evergreen Pacific Partners as a senior vice president. He previously was an investment banker with Credit Suisse.
Evergreen Pacific Partners (“Evergreen”), Washington state's largest private equity fund, announced today it has appointed Edward A. Whatley, Jr. as a Senior Vice President. Whatley will focus on originating investment opportunities throughout the Western U.S. and Canada as well as participate in all activities of the firm throughout the entire investment cycle.
“Ed's personal and professional background are an excellent match for Evergreen and our disciplined approach to investing in traditional, mid-market companies,” said T.J. McGill, one of Evergreen's three Managing Partners.
Prior to joining Evergreen, Whatley worked in investment banking in New York City for more than eight years. Most recently he served as a Director for Credit Suisse where he successfully closed in excess of 30 transactions across North America and Europe, totaling more than $30 billion in capital raised, including the largest high yield financing in history and the largest holding company dividend loan in history. Prior to Credit Suisse, Whatley served as a Director at CIBC, where he served as a Group Director in the Investment Banking Division
