WhiteHorse Capital, a direct lending affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, has named Daniel Dubé as a principal. Previously, he was a director at THL Credit in the Los Angeles office.
LOS ANGELES–(BUSINESS WIRE)–WhiteHorse Capital (“WhiteHorse”) announced the expansion of its direct lending team with the addition of Daniel Dubé as a Principal. WhiteHorse is the direct lending affiliate of H.I.G. Capital, a leading global private equity and alternative assets investment firm with $23 billion of equity capital under management.
Dan, who is based in Los Angeles, will lead the WhiteHorse sponsor originations efforts on the West Coast, with a focus on providing first lien, unitranche and second lien loan solutions to private equity firms who are focused on the lower middle and middle market space.

Dan was previously a Director with THL Credit in the LA office for over seven years. Prior to THL Credit, Dan worked for Macquarie Capital Funds in NY, and he began his career as an investment banking analyst in the Communications and Media Group at Lehman Brothers in NY.
