WhiteWave agrees to buy PE-backed Earthbound Farms for $600 mln

The WhiteWave Foods Company said Monday that it has agreed to acquire Earthbound Farm for approximately $600 million in cash. The sellers include Kainos Capital and founders Drew & Myra Goodman. J.P. Morgan advised WhiteWave in the transaction while Barclays and Houlihan Lokey acted as financial advisors to Earthbound Farm.
