Willkie Farr & Gallagher taps PE lawyers for London office

Global law firm Willkie Farr Gallagher has added Matthew Dean and Claire McDaid as corporate partners in its London office. Dean’s practice is focused on formations, buyouts, financings and venture capital investments while McDaid’s practice deals with cross-border private equity and investment deals. Previously, Dean and McDaid were partners at Kirkland & Ellis International.

New York, NY (July 14, 2014) — Willkie Farr & Gallagher LLP today announced that Matthew Dean and Claire McDaid will join the firm as corporate partners in the London office.

Mr. Dean’s practice is primarily focused on fund formations, buyouts, financings and venture capital investments. Ms. McDaid’s practice focuses on cross-border private equity and investment transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, financings and incentive arrangements. Both were formerly partners in the London office of Kirkland & Ellis International LLP.
