Wood Creek Capital’s Concord Music Group buys Vee-Jay Records catalog

Concord Music Group, which is owned by Wood Creek Capital Management, has acquired the catalog of R&B and soul label Vee-Jay Records, the company announced in a post on its site. No financial terms were disclosed. The catalog includes the master recordings of such artists as Little Richard, John Lee Hooker, The Staple Singers and Jimmy Reed.
