Yishan Capital Partners, the independent real estate investment and asset management firm with a sole focus on Southeast Asia, has announced that the company has formed two strategic joint ventures with local partners in Indonesia, offering specialized platforms to invest and manage properties in the country.

Yishan Capital Partners, which has been operating in Southeast Asia since 2011 with offices in Singapore and Jakarta, sponsors and manages collective investment schemes in the form of closed-end funds and joint ventures for institutional investors and family offices.

The two new joint ventures are:

· Cornerstone Asset Management: a joint venture between Yishan Capital Partners and Colliers International which seeks to unlock investment opportunities in the retail property sector in Indonesia. The partnership combines in-depth understanding of the Indonesian retail property market with rigorous asset management geared to maximize the economic performance of retail property investments.

The joint venture develops and manages high-specifications logistics parks and other industrial properties across Indonesia. It offers customized real estate solutions to support the growth of domestic and international companies, including third-party logistics providers.

John van Oost, Managing Partner, Yishan Capital Partners says: “Indonesia is one of the largest and fastest growing economies globally, yet it continues to present particular challenges for investors seeking exposure to its thriving property market. He adds: “The rapidly changing property markets of Southeast Asia represent attractive investment opportunities for global investors in search of portfolio diversification, consistent income and substantial capital appreciation. Yishan Capital Partners continues to see significant growth in the region for investments as we draw on our track record in real estate investment and asset management. The joint ventures are two of several initiatives planned for the coming months which will help further position Yishan as the industry’s leading specialist for real estate investment and asset management in Southeast Asia.”
