Chart of the week: About one-fifth of ’16 money raised by placement agents from public pensions

Public-pension funds led the way in money raised (19.5 percent) in 2016 by 16 placement agents that collected a combined $14.7 billion, a survey by Buyouts Insider shows. Endowments and foundations came in second with 16.9 percent and corporate pension funds were third at 13.4 percent.
