Chart of the week: About two-thirds of ’16 money raised by placement agents from U.S.

The U.S. took up the majority of money raised (65.4 percent) in 2016 by 19 placement agents that collected a combined $18.8 billion, a survey by Buyouts Insider shows. Europe came in second with 17.8 percent and Asia-Pacific was third at 8.1 percent.
