Graycliff’s Venture Aircraft Becomes Impresa Aerospace

Venture Aircraft, a supplier to the aerospace industry has acquired some of the assets of Swift-Cor Aerospace, including manufacturing facilities in Gardena, California and Wichita, Kansas. The combined entity will operate under the new name of Impresa Aerospace and includes a total of four facilities with three in California and one in Wichita. Venture Aircraft is a Graycliff Partners portfolio company.

Venture Aircraft, LLC, a leading supplier to the aerospace industry and a portfolio company of Graycliff Partners LP, today announced that the company has acquired certain assets of Swift-Cor Aerospace, Inc., including manufacturing facilities in Gardena, California and Wichita, Kansas. The combined entity will operate under the new name of Impresa Aerospace, LLC, and includes a total of four facilities with three in California and one in Wichita.

Impresa’s history as a supplier to the Tier 1 and Tier 2 aerospace industry dates back to 1973 (then operating as Venture). The company boasts major contracts with Boeing, Spirit Aerosystems, Sikorsky, Lockheed Martin and Gulfstream. Notable commercial programs include the Boeing 787, 777, 747, 737; Airbus A330 and A340; and Gulfstream G650.
