NanoH2O, a manufacturer of cost effective reverse osmosis membranes for seawater desalination, has appointed global operations veteran, Doug Barnes as chief operating officer. The business is backed by Oak Investment Partners, Khosla Ventures, BASF Venture Capital, Total Energy Ventures International and Keytone Ventures.
NanoH2O, Inc., manufacturer of the most efficient and cost effective reverse osmosis (RO) membranes for seawater desalination, today announced that global operations veteran, Doug Barnes, has joined the Company as Chief Operating Officer.

Prior to joining NanoH2O, Mr. Barnes spent 25 years in high volume manufacturing with Planar, a leader in digital display technology. He served in various positions including Vice President of Global Operations and as General Manager, during which he was responsible for establishing commercial and manufacturing operations in Europe and Asia.
